The Project
The Mothercare building in Watford is being converted into a scheme of apartments designed for the local market. Xone Kontrol will manage the end to end development of this scheme on behalf of its client.
Being developed under permitted development rights with the addition of two storeys of new build, the scheme construction will include full design works, strip out and site preparation as well as typical construction services.
The Future
The final design of the scheme is still subject to planning, but below are a selection of the proposed plans for the site.

Xone Kontrol have been appointed to undertake the full design and build programme for the Mothercare permitted development scheme in Watford. The programme has included full design works including the development of plans and submission of planning for two new floors comprising 40 new build units.
Construction commenced in early 2020 after mothercare vacated the building. The existing building is being stripped out to make it ready for segregation into the residential units and the remaining construction activity.
